Matchbox

Well, I'm told by several different sources that although Matchbox's "mission helicopter" is based on the helicopter from Blue Thunder, it was never sold as an officially licensed product.

I'm told the above photo shows the first version of this casting released in 1985.  The same casting has subsequently been released in a variety of colors.
