I have to admit, they look fantastic. The 1:64 scale line may also
include a '65 Ford Mustang Convertible, Sunbeam Alpine, Lincoln Continental,
and '80 Lotus Esprit Turbo 2.2. I like the silhouette magnet pack-ins,
too. I think that's a great idea.
Cars: The Next Wave!
received an e-mail from Chris Day. Here's what he wrote:
just came across this news. There is a new wave of Cars coming. Here
is a pic.
Check 'em out. Doc Hudson as the Hudson Hornet. Lightning
McQueen is his Corvette-like paint scheme. A THIRD variation of Ramone!
Great stuff! Thanks Chris.
This Just In!
received an e-mail from sponsor Movie Car Mania:
Movie Car Mania was able to secure 2 cases of
CARS from the
“CARS”. We are working very hard to
get more in and hope to have more soon. However, you select few are being
notified FIRST of our latest receipts
since you have expressed interest in getting a full set of cars. To be
fair, I will be listing these CARS at
(5 1/2 hours from now). This is to give all of you a chance to receive this
email and get ready to order (they won’t last long).
There is only ONE
Yes I am
because the Lizzy will be the same price as all the others. Mattel has
intentionally short packed the cases and out of the two cases, I only
received ONE. Also, there are no
Sarge’s at this time.
Click on the link in the upper right corner of this page and good luck!
running rampant on the internet that Mattel has secured the rights to
produce George Barris' 1966 Batmobile in 2007 in various scales. If
this is true, it would be the most exciting die-cast news in a long time!
Mattel has done amazing work on all of the movie Batmobiles. I won't
hold my breath, though, until I get confirmation from Mattel.
Happy 4th of July!
