7/20/06 - San Diego Comic Con

7/13/06 - Bond, James Bond
The above images were posted on the Hobby Talk Bulletin Board.  Click on the thumbnails to check out RC2's Bond releases scheduled to ship in September.  I have to admit, they look fantastic.  The 1:64 scale line may also include a '65 Ford Mustang Convertible, Sunbeam Alpine, Lincoln Continental, and '80 Lotus Esprit Turbo 2.2.  I like the silhouette magnet pack-ins, too.  I think that's a great idea.

7/11/06 - Holy Bat-Rumors!
Rumors are running rampant on the internet that Mattel has secured the rights to produce George Barris' 1966 Batmobile in 2007 in various scales.  If this is true, it would be the most exciting die-cast news in a long time!  Mattel has done amazing work on all of the movie Batmobiles.  I won't hold my breath, though, until I get confirmation from Mattel.
